Hi all,
Trying to sell my MRL Pappenheimer. Bought back in 2004 for $300+ ($285 w/ out tax and shipping).
Asking $220 for it. W/ out the scabbard. I will pay shipping (using the least expensive way I can find).
The sword, as you can see, is in great condition, aside from a few imperfections:
1. Some surface rust on the pommel. Will come out easily w/ some polishing.
2. A slightly dented tip. Got it that way from MRL...
3. Some surface scratches near the hilt, where I, being dumb and inexperienced, tried to polish off the "India" marking, and failing to go w/ the grain. Some vigorous polishing should take care of it.
Sword is the standard "MRL blunt," i.e. not sharp per se, but can definitely chop lettuce or run someone through if you're not careful.
Sword has been hanging on a wall or in storage w/ oil. Used twice to run through cardboard dummies. That's it.
