This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

I have a unique A&A sword that I got in early February that has seen nothing but my office wall. Unfortunately I have to drum some funds and don't have all that much left in the collection to sell so this one will end up being a short timer. I originally paid $717 for the sword, leather scabbard and shipping. I'm willing to part with it all for $709 and I will pay shipping CONUS. As an accelerator if you buy the sword I will throw in an A&A Hungarian Axe, regularly $125 + $30 shipping, for free.

Sword, scabbard, axe and CONUS shipping for the lot $709.

Hi Joe,

Any idea what catagory or era this sword is? Is this some type of great sword or war sword of the 13th or 14th century?

How long is the blade and grip?

Also, is the sword blade stiff or flexible? Does it whip a bit when swung about? Any sag when held horizontal? Pardon my ignorance, I have never owned an A&A sword before, so I don't know how they are in this regard, especially with a big blade like this...

Thanks much!

Terry

About the type of the sword, it looks more like XVIIIa from the 15th century.
