I am unfortunately selling my Ketland eagle head sword to fund the purchase of a couple other swords.
No blueing remains on the blade, but there are remains of the gold inlay. It was lightly rusted when I got it and it was removed with no problem or damage. There are fine scratches in the blade which can be seen close up and I believe one of the previous owners tried to remove the blueing at some point, but these scratches were underneath the rust so it was done some time ago. They are fine scratches, not deep, and don't affect the overall appearance of the sword. It has a bone grip, but the brass guard has been bent at some point which can be seen in the pictures.
As mentioned in the title, the scabbard is still present, but the leather has shrunk enough so the blade does not fit into it completely. The stitching on it has long since disappeared but both the throat and drag are still present.
I would be happy to answer any questions you might have and can take any additional pictures that might be necessary.
I am asking $500 firm plus shipping. If I do not get that, off to ebay it will go with a reserve.
