I have for sale a custom bronze spearhead and buttspike that I ordered from Craig Sitch at Manning Imperial a couple of years ago. I had him model it after his tanged Caananite spear to keep things simple, and the workmanship on this socketed piece is exquisite. I do not have weights for the pieces, I'm afraid, as I can't get a scale that accurate with small items. The spearhead has a 7" blade and an overall length of 15.5". The buttspike is 12" in length, and is heavier than the head, making it good for balancing (as it should be). The inner diameter of the sockets is 1" with an outside diameter of 1.25".
I waited about 10 months for the order to process and to receive the items here in the states. I was extremely pleased with the workmanship, but due to a slight misunderstanding in directions part of the upper tang on the original model is still visible below the blade. This makes for an inaccuracy, so I figured I'd just let it be or else possibly wrap that section with some leather or something to make it less apparent.
In any case, this is a excellent set, and cost about $300 US to have made, and then a long wait time was added to that. The pieces have never been socketed on anything, and some buffing up and polishing would make them as good as new. They were stored very nicely until the other week when I got them out to sell. I'd like to ask $225 for the pair, and then figure shipping on top of that. I'm only selling because I'm moving away to college in two weeks, and won't likely have much use for some of my pointy objects. I'd also appreciate having the extra cash around for books and such!
