http://www.by-the-sword.com/acatalog/Fantasy_Swords_Page_1.html

I was just looking on this website(we are all familiar with it), and this sword caught my eye. I am not that familiar with the Maciejowski Bible, but I was wanting to know what people thought about this sword. They say this is functional, but i wanted to get some opinions before i make my own judgement. I saw something like this before at armsofvalour.com, but it was labeled the "Warbrand", and looked like a glorified kitchen knife.

Also, does it have any practical use in combat?

Thanks,

I have a MRL Mac Bible chopper, While not the greatest thing in the world I have no doubt it was very effective if actually used in combat. The back three points do a considerable amount of damage. Its like a machete on steriods.
The on on that site looks nice but wouldnt bother spending nearly 500 bucks on it.
Find a blacksmith or someone who could make one just the same and more likely cheaper and better built.

Just my two cents.

This thread has info on "choppers" like in the Maciejowski Bible: http://www.myArmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=927 . I'm not into fantasy weapons, so I don't care for the one you linked to. MRL/Windlass does/did make a Mac. Bible inspired weapon or two that would be better, but that's just my opinion.
