I just want to say that my A&A 15th Century Two Hander arrived today. Even though the UPS gorillas tore the side of the box open, the sword was undamaged. What an absolute beauty! Of course it's a big sword, but it handles beautifully and has excellent mass distribution. If the weather clears, I will get some pics this weekend.

Ooh...I wanna see a pic of you completely destroying something with that sword! I always thought that was one of their cooler pieces.
Constant and true.

I'm wondering Joel how this particular one handles in comparison to the A&A claymore.
Try not to take yourself too seriously.

Here are some first pics (not all that great). I wanted to show the details that you can't see in the A&A website photos. There is some first class work here. For example:

Notice the faceted ferrules. Beautiful!!

Look how the top of the handle becomes faceted to match the shape of the pommel.

The gorgeous little clamshell on the langets.

The A&A catalog photos really don't do the sword justice. I'll try and do a full review when I can get some suitable material as a background to take some much better pics. JUst so there is no mistake, this is a BIG sword. You really get no idea now large and impressive that pommel is. It looks flatter in the head on photos than it is. I mean it is really thick. The blade is a beefy diomond shape with a high central rige that almost looks like it's slightly hollow ground if you didn't know better.

Looking straight at the blade near the hilt. One beefy blade!
