Could you say that most modern knife bayonets have a blade length (on average) between 6" - 8" inches long? Happy

The M9 that we (the aussie army) use has a 7 inch blade. Happy

Yes. M16 with bayonet mounted pictured below (note that the scabbard on the bayonet has crept off about 2 inches... gauge the length by the scabbard length).
Have 11 swords, 2 dirks, half a dozen tomahawks and 2 Jeeps - seem to be a magnet for more of all.
