The sword design competition has re-opened!

The Sword Design Competition entry form has been created and the number of entries increased to 5 Fantasy Swords and 5 Historical Ones.

Thanks for your vote!

Personally, I voted for my Koln design. That one was the one I was really hoping would make it through when they said they'd be adding another historical sword.

The koln and the torino were my two favorites.

C'mon people we really need your votes!

Ah. Too bad the competition isn't accepting new designs. Any chance of another similar competition in the future? I have a folder with dozens of sword designs, any of which can be expanded to include details and measurements at a moment's notice.

Keep a watch on the SBG site. It is my understanding they will do another contest later this year or by the latest next year.

If this works out well we will be running another competition later this year or early 2008.

It was a very close race and I would like to personally thank everyone who entered. We will get started on bringing these two swords to life immediately!
