Hello everybody. I'm new to this forum though i'm reading it from a bit.
I was wondering if you can help mw with this question: historically speaking, during the XIII century is it possible to use a ring frog for the sword in battle, or you have to stick with the scabbard? Do you have any evidence for a ring "holder" for a sword?
There is at least one evidence from a manuscript but it comes from XIV century, not from before.

Thanks for help!
