Hi all!

Could you guys please post here photos of original swords with a thumbrest plate or leathered blade!
I was just thinking if we see a lot of them we could see where, when and on what kind of swords was the thumbgrip surely used. For example I have never seen a sciavonesca sword with thumbrest or leathered blade, but there are lot of longswords with or without them. It would be also good to see what shape of logswords can be leathered (on the rusty ones I have seen of course there is no leather at all ).
