I bought about 200 leather Lames from a store on Ebay, and they have arrived looking pretty good. I was going to try to put some together and start building a corslet as an experiment, if it works out I may create a steel one. My question, what kind of lace or thread should I use to link them together, what kind of knots should I use, etc.? Is there a good site on this somewhere?

Hello all!
You might want to try this link:
http://www.armourarchive.org/patterns/lamellar_templarbob/
I am not sure how historically accurate it might be (it's SCA, so take it with a grain of salt when considering historical accuracy), but it does have patterns for lamellar.
Check it out!
