Does anyone have any personal pictures, measurements, weights or any info regarding Edward III great sword? Any kind of help would be appreciated on this. I have contacted staff at St Georges, but they cannot give me much in the way of details as it is no where in their records and do not have anyone in the required field who is willing to supply further info.
Just to clarify, this is the great sword at St Georges', Windsor, not the hand and a half or war sword that remains in a private collection to this day and is reproduced by many sword smiths.
Thanks,
A rabid fan of the Eddie and his lad,

Hi Justin........... In frustration I sent an e-mail to the College of St George in Windsor asking very politely about any info on the sword. I sent this shortly after you asked me about it and Im still waiting for a reply. I fear its lost in cyberspace. I have not found anything else on-line mentioning it. It looks like another one of the treasures that is taken for granted like so much other arms and armour locked away in museum basements and forgoten.
I'll keep searching !
Cheers !
