You guys may or may not have read my review of the Castle Keep sword on the main page. I'm in process of working a couple of more deals with Rob myself so I was perusing his website. Mostly it shows pictures of his knightly swords like the one I reviewed, baskethilts, claymores, vikings etc. However I happened to look at his news page and discovered that he's even more versatile then I though. On that page there are some nice looking longswords, a nifty rapier and gauche or two, and to my surprise even a katana! Rob said he will be willing to try anything and it looks like he really is. Very neat stuff...

Hey Russ... That custom sword bug bite you or something?.... Big Grin Happy I'd be one to talk. The bug bit me and the only drawback to it is if you end up without any money to feed the thing.... Wink

I wouldn't mind sending Rob some business. I've looked over his stuff off an on for several years and keep thinking that the work looks really nice. Need to win the lottery though or looking is all I'll be doing, I'm afraid...

I hadn't really thought about it Scott but you might be right at that... or sort of anyway. I've got the thing going with Jake Powning, I've STILL got to get a check in the mail to Albion (sorry guys I have been trying to make sure Jake is not going to present me with a bill at an inopportune moment) and now a few things working with Rob.... I'm still getting all of those A&A swords though. Happy

Hey Lee yes I did notice those Japanese swords. Rob said he would try his hand at anything. Apparently he is not joking. It's been a real pleasure to work with him.

Lol... you know, I don't think anybody can comprehend just how deep a hole I could dig for myself if I just had a little money and rope to hang myself with... Big Grin There are a fair number of the 'production' swords out there I'd really like to get ahold of. Albion has about a half dozen at least, and so does A&A. But, I could really get into serious money with the custom sword thing. Got too many ideas in diverse directions.... Maybe it is a good thing I'm not financially able to get into debt. Wink Will have to make my own I guess, til I break even and get some money.
