Does anyone know of a source of reasonably accurate hats of the English Civil War and 30 Years War era? I am looking for a something like a broad brimmed cavalier style with a high, flat-topped crown. ECW reenactment sites often show people with these hats, yet I can't find any that I like the look of.
Thanks,
Shae

You may also want to take a look at www.clearwaterhats.com
Though the website does not have 17th century styles listed the print catalog does.

Shae,
I don't know if they they have them in the states, but try and find a re-enactors fair, someone at one will do what you're after.

Check on the Jas. Townson web-site. They have stuff usable for the ECW.
www.jastown.com
also may check with G.Gedney Godwin or Smoke & Fire on line.

Thanks a lot guys. Some of those links are very helpful. The Syke Sutler website looks especially nice.
