Hey guys,
I'm checking out a number of high-quality swords and am looking at an Angus Trim for future purchase. I -really- like the AS1562. It's simple elegance, grip and the length of the blade all appeal to me. Does anyone have thoughts on this sword?
For that matter, do you have any suggestions for an Angus Trim sword to start me out?

The Lady Carmen was my first, and (so far) only 'real' sword purchase, 'simple elegance' is a perfect description, it is a beautiful weapon, light and agile, and the craftsmanship is excellent. I have yet to do any cutting with mine, but there are some reviews of its abilities in other posts here.

I'm also looking at the AT1313. It's similar to the Carmen and a bit less money.

For me, it was a decision between the Lady Carmen, or the AT1415, so I tool the Lady with the 'Bow Tie' cross of the 1415. I felt the small price difference between the swords was well spent to get exactly what I wanted.

Ken,
I had the pleasure to play with a 1562 for about a month-and-a-half, and subsequently did a review on it. It was a superb handling blade and an absolute demon to cut with. Do a search and you should see my write up. I heartily recommend that sword. As a side note, I have a couple new pieces that I will be testing out (one of which draws her lineage from the Lady Carmen), and a forthcoming review of my new 1520, once the weather permits me to actually do some test cutting that is.

It was the pics of the sword from that review that sealed my decision to get the 'Lady' back in December. The only cutting I have done with it was purely by accident, while wipping the sword down....I 'removed' the cap from one of the bottles in a six pack of rootbeer sitting in a bag on the floor....without breaking the bottle.

This is definitely making it difficult for me to pick between the Lady and, say, the 1313...

I just looked on All Saints Blades webpage and they have a Lady carmen listed under their in stock section....if that helps any.

Actually, it doesn't... because now I'm tempted to buy one! 
I can't afford one right now. I have an Albion Conan coming to me and an Albion Gaddhjalt also enroute. These will leave me tapped out for a little while, but after that I'm gonna get the Carmen

I have a NG Gaddhjalt and I think you will be very satisfied with it. I'm waiting on a Baron and Knight now.

Hey if you want that Lady Carmen now you could always sell the Albion Conan to me for the price of the Atrim!  You have good taste in swords.

The Gaddhjalt was graciously offered to me after I missed out on a Hastings X, so I jumped on it. I also have a bid in for a Del Tin 2142 War Sword, but with 3 days to go it'll probably go over my $250 limit
After that, it's the 1562 or bust!
