Does anyone know anywhere to buy viking age artifacts,preferrably swords but I would be happy with a hilt.I searched the web for hours and couldn't find much before medieval times.I know of Liongate and another site called viking and saxon antigues but can't seem to find anything for viking stuff.Does anyone know if you can buy direct from a museum?

Viking age artefacts that are excavated in scandinavia belongs to the state, which do not sell them.
The stuff that is in private collections are either excavated a long time ago or found outside scandinavia.
Or, of course, excavated illegally, although this hasn't been a big problem, at least lately.
Medieval stuff is much more common, and more likely to be preserved in collections or armories, or found by chance.
