Hey everybody. Does anyone know if this is a copy of a historical bronze sword ? Or is it just the product of someone with too much time on their hands? It's 27" overall with a 22 1/2" blade. The figure on the blade is repeated four times on either side and there some wrting/markings toward the point.
Thanks for looking,W

Well, doesn't look like any european bronze sword that I've ever seen, but I haven't seen many. At least one of the figures looks vaguely meso-american in style, which suggests to me that it is possibly a recent hotch-potch (don't think the metalworking of that culture went much beyond noble metals and maybe a bit of native copper). Of course, I could be way off. Just an uneducated opinion.

Looks like a made for e-bay chinese slo....
The pen is mightier than the sword, especially since it can get past security and be stabbed it into a jugular.
This site would be better if everytime I clicked submit... I got to hear a whip crack!

Yup, the blade is a rough immitation of a Warring States period Chinese sword, with some fantasy decoration on it. Tons of such immitations are being sold on ebay.
