Trio of Small Bearded Axes

Just completed: 3 small bearded axes (all the same size and shape) based on examples in Sweden. These axes have the following features:

- Forge-welded construction (high carbon steel edge welded to a mild steel socket)
- Differential hardening (hardened and tempered edge and soft body for shock resistance)
- Antiqued finish (browned)
- Hand hewn tapered Ash haft included
- 4.5” (11.4 cm) blade length from point to point

PRICE: $400 USD (haft included) plus $25 domestic shipping. International shipping will be determined at time of sale. Payment options include: check, money order or PayPal (please add 3% to total). Will custom cut the length of the haft to your specifications.

Interested parties please contact me at ericmycue@verizon.net

Note the bright edges. The center axe is slightly darker brown than the others.

Don’t let the size fool you! These are substantial weapons.

The haft is about 32” (81.3 cm), but it can be cut to your desired length.

Ahhh, colour, me like.... your bright finishes are great, but this looks way more "right" to me.

Nice axes Eric.

Beautiful work, Eric! I love the contrast in color.

Looking at the heft and geometry of those....Anyone want to stand in front of one in the armour of the period? In the armour of any period? Eek!

I like 'em. Wish I could afford one at the moment. It would go nicely alongside my Vince Evans Danish axe, which is very similarly finished...
