This may seem a bit out of place but has anyone seen or heard from Aaron Schnatterly? He was a prolific poster for a while and I had the pleasure of meeting him and seeing his collection at teh Albion Roundtable he so graciously hosted. I cannot get a respons efrom him via e-mail or the mail on the forum. Has anyone heard from the guy? I hope he's alright. We were supposed to work on an educational project but I have not been able to contact him since January.

Yep, a couple of weeks ago, actually. . . was mumbling something about his shop being bigger than his apartment. . .

Did not know if we were allowed to tell that yet, but since the cat is out, I also heard he was going to Albion. When he is ready I'm sure we'll hear from him.

I'll let Aaron know that people are asking about him tomorrow when I see him. He doesn't have his own computer set up yet, so his only internet access is on one of the shop computers at night or lunch.

Well that is a relief and the minimal computer access does explain a lot.
Now that the cat is out of the bag and running LOOSE all of us in the know can stop keeping it a secret from each other
Gotta say a lot of us sure can keep a secret for months on end.
And now it can be told that Aaron helped packing up my Tritonia a while back and told me how great it looked before I got it.
Jason say hello from me also.

Now that is great news!! Aaron has made some fine scabbards so far, so it's great he can turn his hobby into something bigger.

I was rather worried. Aaron was working as an EMT offshore here in Louisiana. When I stopped hearing from him, I feared something had happened. Gals to hear he's at Albion and doing fine. I got to see some of his great scabbards firsthand and they are of superb quality. I know that at Albion he'll learn other skills suck as metal working and he'll probably be turning out pieces of art soon. Aaron if you are reading this, good luck and I hope to see you soon. Drop me a line sometime or I can give you call over at Albion. Amy and I are old pals so the boss ladt might let you talk on the phone for a minute HAHA. Just really glad to hear you are ok.

Well, that cat really IS out of the bag. I corresponded with Aaron in January, about a week after he moved there, and I have been biting my tongue ever since!! He did recently mention that he is super busy.

Just checked on the Albion site and it's been updated in the " about " section with Aaron's name appearing.
Been checking for that every time I've visited the site lately. ( Compulsively for months actually )
The guys at Albion must be keeping him too busy to post.
