That gilding is amazing. The contrast to the blueing is spectacular. I'm imagining what the original suit looked like in its prime, and if this is close, wow.

Congratulations on an incredibly beautiful piece of work.
It is really interesting to see this armor, as it shows what beauty that the craftsmen of old were capable of creating.
Until I saw this I really had no idea that this stuff could be that beautiful

When I first saw the pics, I got a low-res version. I didn't see the fine details. I was still quite impressed. Then I took a close-up look at those gauntlets... 
I get asked from time to time what my fascination with armour is all about, when swords hold so much interest. Looking at Mr. Fuller's work here, I can explain it easily - sculpture, jeweler's fine touches, brutal functionality, history...
Beautiful work, Mr. Fuller! Bravo!

I think my mouth my permanently remain in the "wow" position. That is simply incredible, Peter! Aaron's experience was the same as mine, where I was already floored just looking at the low res pictures, but then taking a closer look and seeing the amazing detail there... and camera's never show everything, so I'm sure there's so much more to it! I can't imagine doing all of that embossing even on one part of the harness, let alone the whole suit!

I think it is the finest reproduction that I have ever seen. I would be quite interested in comparing it with the original. Knowing that many of the old swords were not as well finished as modern ones, makes me curious about the finish of some of the finer original suits.
