Hello All
My name is Richard van Dijk and I have recently become aware of this website, I live in New Zealand and make knives and swords under the name Hoiho knives, please have a look at my website if you are interested.
Here is my latest from New Zealand, my Damascus springbok fighter
1200 layer damascus, spring bok horn handle with sterling silver fittings en damascus pommel nut.
total length 15 inch (48.5 cm.)

I love the flow of your design, and your choice of materials and finishes. And the pattern-welded blade is fantastic, too!

This Springbok fighter is an exquisite piece of art, Richard. I think that this one would have also been a good choice for entry in the Masters of Fire Exhibition. In fact, I prefer your Springbok fighter over your contemporary damascus sword at the exhibit. Both beautifully conceived and executed, but the Springbok just appeals more to my personal tastes. I'm sure that either one would be well beyond my budget, but worth every penny!
