I am looking for a Roman helmet similar to the ones that Albion used to carry. Were are some good places to buy from?

2 places that I recommend Gary is www.lawrensnest.com and www.niximperial.com. The helms that we carried were made by Deepeeka so any dealer that carrys them should be good. Hope this helps.

Gary,

You can also find them at By The Sword. They've got a sale going right now that will save you an extra 10% and their customer service is very good. La Wren's Nest also has great service.

Deepeeka helmets can vary in size depending on the model so be sure to state the size you require when ordering.

Matthew Amt's site has lots of good info on Roman helmets and describes the high points and problems with different models, including Deepeeka's offerings.

Good luck with your search!

This is another vendor on the LegioXX vendors list:

I've not purchased anything from Rusty, so can't vouch for his service, but the prices seem attractive for all of the Deepeeka helms.

Well, looks like I've got you folks pretty well trained! Thanks for the plug. Gary (or anyone else), just yell if you need more advice or details.

Matthew, Leg.XX
