I went over there to collect a picture and was surprised to find that the guys at Arms and Armor have been busy revamping their site. I like the new layout a LOT better it's much easier to navigate and the pictures have been upgraded in some cases showing detail not available before. Also isn't that a new sparring sword I see? I don't recall ever seeing that one before... Happy Of course that means that they've made one more sword I have to buy..

I like the new up-to-date layout of their site. Very well done! You're right, it's easier to navigate. The thing is, though, they raised their prices yet again which is making it harder for me to save up for an Ed III. Cry

Nice. The new pictures show of their work a lot better. I wonder if after my pending swords are paid for I'll have enough extra cash for something small like a mace, or dagger... Big Grin

Love the new navigation. A great improvement. Makes me want to buy more. Laughing Out Loud

And did you see that they are offering custom scabbards now. Looks like even more money will be going to them in the future. Exclamation

You know, the structure and photography look familiar...

VERY familiar...

...

...a Mr. Nathan Robinson didn't happen to have a hand in the development of A&A's new site, did he?

BTW, I think it's great that A&A now has full profile shots of their swords. Now I can see their eye for lines and proportions, and not just the hilt-work.

Well done! Cool

Really nice look of the site as well as better navigation. More angles, full length shots, easier to make out details and even where it seems that some of the older pictures from the previous version of the site were re-used, they seem to have been worked on to make them sharper and with improved contrast.

This is going to make slowing down my buying more difficult to do as some things that seemed just o.k. now look hard to resist .

You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!

I agree with all that the site is a great improvement over the prior arrangement.

Well, Craig warned us that this was going to happen, back when A&A posted their Spring 2005 sale. So, we had ample time (though, perhaps not the funds) to take advantage of the old pricing.

Somehow we know Russ would be the first to notice Razz

Got so late tweaking all the details that we decided to put the announcement up this morning, but we where joking it would not take Russ that long to find out.

Thanks for all the good feed back everyone. Hope it enhances your sword-web experience. Happy

Keep well
Craig

Purely a coincidence. I don't spend hours every week obsessing about items on your site and figuring out how much blood I have to sell and holding up banks and... ahem I'm sorry as I was saying it's all just a coincidence...

I especially like the long list of references provided on the site.

Great new look, Craig, and good job, Nathan!

Ah, the covetous staring at all of the wonderful wares... gack, back to figuring out how to pay for all the stuff I want!

Cheers!

Am I reading the price on the Hungarian Axe right? It seems to be even less than any of the spears (and only $15 more than the Iberian Mace). Why is it so cheap?

The new layout looks great. I just wish they'd taken the time to fix some of the description errors. For example, a six foot ash pole is about three feet shy of Silver's perfect length. He certainly wouldn't have considered such a staff to be "superior to all other weapons."
