I'm sorry I couldn't resist- But do any of you guys remember Anglachel/gurthang from the Silmarilion? I think that would be a cool sword for some one to attempt- not that I would buy it as I have no interests in purchasing fantasy swords. It would be a cool thing to see though.

I dunno, Jeremy, I think I would buy if they made it look "authentic" enough Oooo.... do you think they could somehow make it speak like it did to Turin, or is that a feature beyond known skill? "Limited edition: 65 talking Gurthangs"

Limited edition! That's pretty good! I saw that one of the guys at albion had finished a sword that was claimed to be part "meteorite," take a look at the custom section.

That would be Rick Barrett's Meteorite blade.
Since most meteorites are primarily iron they can be used (especially in pattern-weld) to make blades.
