I know who this one's going to. I've got a few of my boyos from the Irish Connection enroute to make the owner an offer he can't refuse. Wink

Laughing Out Loud I get the feeling he'll get the point. Eek! Laughing Out Loud Laughing Out Loud I've noticed that WS's spear heads/buttcaps are made to fit a standard size, easily-obtainable shaft (1-1/4"?, something like that). Are Vince's pieces made the same way? Happy

Who knows? You'd have to ask Vince since everything's one of a kind with him. I'd be willing to do some scrounging for a shaft, for a spear head like that!

Very cool! I wonder if this is one of the goodies Mr. Evans intends to have at the blade show this year...

The thing to remember when Vince's table is unfurled is to point and say "I'll take it", first, than ask cost !
Cause once the metal-feeding-frenzy starts, and fast claims put forth, there won't be much left to do but kick yerself for being too slow on the draw ;-)

Seriously, I've been there, seen it .... its not for the weak of heart :-) Mac

Edit:
Actually everything on Vince's table has a little card with the price clearly marked ( or marked "Sold" if that is the case).
He does not want folks to feel intimidated, or have to ask what the price is !
My previous comment was just to let everyone know that things happen very fast, and you have to act decisively on your item(s) of choice ! There is not alot of time to hem & haw ..... else it be gone ! ;-) Mac

Yeah, Vince has another one that's similar to this one that will be on his table in a "first come first served" status. Fat chance of me getting that one! I'm sure some guy with a suitcase full of cash will beat me to it. Big Grin

Not if we waylay that cash carrying guy before he gets to the table... you hit him high and I'll hit him low... who is he again? Happy Sadly so far all I've been able to do at Mr. Evan's table is look... everything is purchased by the time I get there. Course this year you never know...

Well, S#%T, I just dismissed my posse of SLAG (Scary Looking Asian Guys). I'll have to call 'em back for another contract. Laughing Out Loud

Sorry guys, the spearhead is coming here without a stop at the Blade Show.

A little tip for you guys who will be there this year. Have an idea what Vince has on the table, have a GOOD idea what you want, and be REAL quick on the trigger when the time comes. A slight hesitation may have cost Ron a nice Kinjal last year, though to be fair, Ron was a gentleman about it and gracefully bowed out before the situation got ugly.

Parick, you have a private message.

Why no, Russ. You haven't. I'll note that for the record.

Actually, all my friends say that...well, they seem to forget the first part. Worried
