Greetings!
have anyone seen this mark yet? It is of silver inlay and depicts a key (I guess).
I think the sword is mid 14th century, but am not so sure (maybe a bit later or earlier?)
Would be great if someone could help.

I don't know, but something about it reminds me of some symbols that Oakeshott described in 'Sword in Hand'. If memory serves, those were associated with Italian city-states in the empire. Unfortunately my copy is stored away somewhere.
BTW, that's a nice sword, similar to XIIIa.11 in Records, located in Glasgow. Where did you find it?
