Snatched this one up for $150 shipped, dont know what MRL model it is, blade is marked Made in Italy, no shield stamp..
I believe that's a Museum Replicas piece made by Del Tin. It was called the "War Sword" or something very similar. Early 1990s era.

I am intrigued about your sword but the download doesn't seem to show. I have an older Del Tin/MRL sword that was apparently listed as a Danish War Sword, so color me curious. Did it look like this one?

How are the quality of Wulfund swords? As in compared to hanwei, windlass or del tin.

The Wulflund swords are well balanced and the finish is ok. Better balanced than most of the Windlass and the Del Tin stuff I held in hand yet. The finish is somewhere between Windlass and Del Tin.
Some of their swords however are a bit on the heavy side.

Very affordable, nice package from the Czech Republic; a sleek, elegant Mainz Gladius, made by Rudolf Krutsky. Scabbard and sharp sword only 300 Euro!

Looks very nice Holger, especially at that price. I would have expected to be at least twice as much.
I also like both of the XVIIIc's that you have acquired. How does Rafal's version compare to the Albion? from the picture it looks to be a well done piece.

Rafals version blade feels - i hate a little to say - much more solid than the Albions blade. Of course the Albion is much better balanced. The blade on Rafals sword has distal taper too, but starts thicker and tapers not so much. But its almost flawless in shape, wonderful work. I would very much like the to test the Albion blade with Rafals grip and vice versa; it think both would feel great then. The grip on Rafals blade is shorter and thinner and gives the alread thicker blade much more forward weight; still feels good, but it has some heft. For some, too much. Grip feels very good with some substantial gloves but without it feels too thin.
The Mainz Gladius is indeed very nice for its price - but surely not perfect. I would say the grip is a little bit too long (i was always under the impression guard and pommel should "encase" the fist?); it leaves you room for another too fingers. The other typical minor issue is the grip being perfectly round... well, you have that EVERYWHERE in the "lower ranks".

Looks great! I love highly detailed work.
Mine is a cheap 1742 infantry sword from Dixie Gun Works. It is the first actual sword I've bought in about a decade. Not bad for the money, but I intend to give it a custom hilt when I have the time. Also made a belt for it.

New sword: Balinderry style viking sword made by Viktor Berbekucz, Hungary.
Blade made of tempered 51CrV4 steel, hardened to 52 -54 HRC (vendor data), sharp. Wooden grip wrapped in brown leather.
Guard and pommel are cast iron.
Blade length: 750 mm
Total length: 900 mm
Blade width: 45 mm at the guard
Weight: 980 grams (sword only)
A little too narrow and too light for my taste, but excellent work for the price of 299 Euro with scabbard included. A shieldmaiden's sword! Good edges, straight, centered fuller, slight secondary bevels, a few grindmarks (easy to polish out). Nice!

That is another great acquisition Holgar. For the price it is amazing looking. How long is the grip, about 20 cm? How is the handling of the sword?
