Oh with no doubt, Mike would have been a much better Aragorn. Lets face it he obviously has much more experience with swords (and orks!!!).

Actually, I believe he was offered the part of Aragorn, but contract talks broke down when Peter Jackson refused to allow him to defend Helms Deep wearing a Packers helmet!

No, I think the reason Mike was turned down by Peter Jackson was because Mike would have the unfair advantage of having an Albion NextGeneration Viceroy strapped on his back, a Sovereign on his waist, and a Peter Johnsson 'Tritonia' in his hand. Talk about "Return of the KING." Sauron wouldn't stand a dog's chance!
