I am wondering if anyone knows of any types of 18th Century swords (F&I thru Rev War) that would have a Spadroon “cut and thrust” type blade; straight with a basket or cage hilt similar to the one pictured. I like the style and am hoping to find a historically accurate original similar to this so I can produce a copy of it for a living history persona. Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations.

Looking for a sword of similar blade and hilt design that would have been used from just prior to the French and Indian War, thru the Revolutionary War

I'd do a search for 18th century complex hilt swords. Much of what you'd see in the (at the time) "colonies" would have been imported, so the various Euro swords of the time should meet your LH group requirements.
