Magnificent work Mateusz! I loved the look of the blade when I saw it on Facebook and the completed sword and scabbard are equally impressive. What is the complete saying on the blade?

Excellent work again by Mateusz, and I'm glad to say that this one is mine!
Haven't really been in a situation to handle it properly since I received it, though, although I absolutely love it! A review will be coming soon, fingers crossed!
This sword has more than just a little bit of a festive feel to it:
The colour scheme of red and green; and the wording on the scabbard and blade reading:
'Make good cheer
And be right merry'
Which are two lines from a longer carol attributed to the 15th century and featuring the Knight, Sir Christemas who was the first written record of the personification of Christmas.
... I like Christmas!

Fantastic work Mateusz! Black and gold has always been my favorite, and you did a great job on that.

but as always there was not enough time for that.
THIS probably is ONLY ONE replica of this sword in the world !!!
Now I'm very happy that this projcet is done
So, it is time to find new challenge. Do you have some ideas???
Special thanks for Leo Todeschini (@Tods Workshop) for making beautiful knive and pricker for me
and thank you Jacek Doliński (@angus metalsmith) for making the brass plate on the rainguard.

"From the Dresden Historisches Museum
This sword is attributed to "Heinrich der Fromme" (Henry the Pious),
an apparent reference to Herzog Heinrich V of Saxony (1473-1541),
Elector of Saxony from 1539-1541.
The museum housing this sword dates it to 1512-1541."
