Gentlemen, theres some heavy discussion on SBG essentially saying that shipping to Europe is not possible any longer; at least not via USPS. Is anybody here aware of that matter? Manufacturers/venors and /or buyers? Feedback and input MOST welcome, thank you!

Ah, thank you. But i know this nonsense thread all too well. It was the reason i left SBG. Distorted, unresearched "facts", if not lies. I hoped to get some unbiased info from here.

I just went to the USPS site and plugged in a package weighing roughly 4.5 kg, 1270 mm by 200 mm by 300 mm and was offered two options for shipping to Germany. One was about $96 and the other $77. So it is still possible, just not inexpensive.
