Pollax ca 1470. Forged from tool steel and hand filed. Haft from slow-grown bog-spruce.
Inspired by two swedish pollhammers, one at the Historical Museum and one at Gustavianum.

Looks great - where in Sweden are you located, and do you have a website of current/previous work, and items for sale?
Cheers,
Michael

The pictures doesn't seen to clarify me if it's an one handed or two handed weapon.

Weapons like this were popular among the class of swedish men-at-arms?

Im in Linköping, Östergötland. Please see more of my work on https://www.instagram.com/willforger/

Im attaching a full length pic of the pollax. These types of weapons where very common with the swedish foot soldier in the mid 1400s into the 1500s, you can see alot of church art as well as written sources of them.
