Just finished a new rondal. It is a long dagger often used by archers and foot soldiers. It is based off of a examples in the Royal Armouries in Leeds that date to around the Battle of Towton during the War of the Roses.

I love it! Fine work, Eric.. This is one that makes me regret my hard rule limiting my collection to 14th C. and earlier pieces, but it was a rule born of fiscal necessity.

WOW! Love it! At almost 27 inches this toes the line between dagger and sword.... Really fine work. I love that wooden handle....
