In the "I thought I saw a thread with this sword but can't find it" category...

This popped up in a FB group today and I could have sworn it was discussed here, might have even been in "Makers" section. Did a reverse image search to get the following description, from which I grabbed key-words to do a search here. No luck.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? Is there already a discussion that I simply cannot find? Thanks.

Description associated with picture:

An Eastern European Medieval Sword with Scabbard, first half of the 14th century The hilt all encrusted with silver (niello). The blade inlaid with gilt inscriptions. The upper back side of the blade engraved with a Mameluk inscription (arsenal of Alexandria). Leather bound scabbard with silver mounts. Overall length: 105.3 cm (41.5"); Blade length: 88.4 cm (34.8"); Scabbard length: 89.5 cm (35.2”) Located at Reichsstadtmuseum Rothenburg, Germany.

Picture (and I give up on trying to figure out how to get a picture to show in here - it's small enough, right type, and is of proportions I've attached before - which don't seem to be listed as requirements any longer.. WTF?! ):

That image was stolen from myArmoury.com's Facebook page. Note, this is the main reason I stopped creating original content for the arms and armour enthusiast community. People are constantly stealing my stuff and distributing it on their own as their own. I got sick of it and stopped making things.

You can see my originally created image right here:

Feel free to tell whoever posted it that it's copyrighted myArmoury.com and posted without permission.

~~~
Note that it's very likely that the sword is likely not an original 14th century sword despite it sitting in a museum.
Linked your post into the group and noted that it was created and copyrighted by you.
As for the creds for the sword, I recall that there are more than a few "questioned" items at that museum.
