Hello, I've recently come accross a sword which is supposed to be on display in the Munich Nationalmuseum - in the middle with 3 fullers (or see the attachment).
It's a very interesting piece. Unfortunately I'm unable to find any reliable stats or proportions.
Please does anyone has access to these?
Thank you very much!

Oh cool are you *the* Martin Fabian?
I suspect del tin may have based their 5140 model on that sword. Maybe del tin has this information?
Also that sword looks like the one in oakeshott's records of the medieval sword, recorded as XXa.1.

Second to last sword in this link.
Or i might be totally mistaken and be talking crap. Anyway i hope it helps

Hello Mark! If you mean the hemaist then yes, it's me
Thanks for help! The Oakeshott records is where I originally found it but there was a question mark next to its length. Del Tin seems to be in agreement with Oakeshott with the overall length of the sword at around 120cm (47") but if you look at the photo from the museum the sword seems to be significantly larger than the well-known Munich sword. I guess its length is around 53in/135cm,

ah yes you're quite right. The sword looks very large.
These guys did a repro of the same sword and the measurements are close to what you estimated.
