Hello,
I am making a spreadsheets with the sizes of the Fighting Shields of the XIV and XV century (Including Rotellas and Hand pavises, but mostly focusing on fighting shields, in other words no archer/crossbowman pavises).
However I am having trouble finding actual measurements online regarding shields. Do any of you have the measures of some of them? also any link maybe to museus websites that have it?

If you're interested in bucklers then you should check out "The Book of the Buckled" by Herbert Schmidt.

There is a book Der Mittelalterliche Reiterschild. But I don't think it has been translated into English. I used to know a link to a bunch of shield dimensions someone extracted from the book, but I can't seem to locate it.
Maybe you or someone with stronger google-fu could help you find it.
