Hello everyone.

I will be in Norwich in October. Is there anything in particular I have to see…apart from the cathedral and the castle?
Any interesting museums?

Thanks a lot!

Herbert

Thanks a lot for pointing it out…can't wait to see it myself.

Do you happen to know if there are any bucklers in the museum?

I don't know if they do. I've never been there myself, unfortunately. If you can spare the 100 miles to London, Museum of London has my favorite collection of arms--great chronological variety and it's all archeological recovery, so there are no worries of Victorian tampering or fakery.

Part of the town wall are still there. Some are in less easy to find places but some like the bit in front of the mall there are right off major roads.

I like the cow tower as well. I had some research I was doing on it and was able to get in to get a look at it some years ago. It is sort of behind the old cathedral.

Of course the castle and museum are great as is the cathedral.

Market and old city hall are awesome as well.

Wish I could be there with you. I loved Norwich.

Best,

RPM
