Hi Guys,

A bit random this, but I am looking for a single coyote fur skin for a Conan project.

Does anyone have any leads bearing in mind I am in the UK. I don't mind buying from the US, but they might mind shipping to me.

Many thanks

Tod

I've exported hides from Canada (to New Zealand) before, no hassle at all. Any taxidermist or fur buyer should be able to handle it.

It should not be a problem if you are getting properly tanned hides. Regardless the best thing to do is go to your customs office and check your postal office for the rules and regulations. You might be able to get wolf pelts or bear as well. Ebay is a great place to find things like this as is estay.

Hi Leo,
I bought a couple of good quality reindeer skins from this company in the U.K. http://www.amblesidesheepskins.co.uk/index.ph...skins.html Although the site advertises sheepskin and reindeer the guy had other hides available at the time. I'm sure it would be worth your while giving him a call.
Regards,
Norman.

Thanks for the leads guys. Moscow fur and hide won't export to UK, but next stop is eBay.com I hadn't thought of that.

Lady on Etsy wouldn't export either unfortunately.

I had an excellent fur guy in the UK, but he has disappeared of late...

I will let you know how I get on as this will end up on a super accurate Atlantean scabbard with all the bronze castings etc in due course.

Just caught a skin on eBay.co.uk 2 hours before the end and over here. £43.50 delivered (circa $60)

Thanks for pointing me in that direction David
