I would like to share this short movie with those who have not seen it. I apologize if this has already been discussed.
Old Papa Machete seems like he had some good skills. I like his style of training/teaching. What most impressed me was the binding work. The blade on blade movements.
I would love to hear any thoughts on this matter.

I wouldn't fight that old man, even with a bastard sword and wearing full chain and plate. I bet he could do a WHOLE LOT more with that machete than they showed. Nope....there ain't enough hooch in that bottle. .....McM

I'm with Mark on that. I would, in no way, mess with that man (rest his soul) or his successors.
Also, as a note for anyone interested . . . the lifestyle and practice they're following is heavily steeped in Voodoo, which runs very strong through that region. Another reason not to mess with them.

As a side note . . . it reminds me of the saying: "Never pick a fight with a person who only owns one weapon, because chances are he is a master of that weapon."
"Men take only their needs into consideration, never their abilities." -Napoleon Bonaparte
