This is how far i have make it until now, and just made for get some "how to do" on
before i starts to make a real one, with planks and all
i have use a 6mm (1/4") thin Lauan plywood left over pice 82cm (32") wide
and a cheap boss (14$) and a pice of wood for handle,
all together it have a weight around 2-2½ kg
and the pattern i have use are from a picture stone from Gotland,
and i have found out that this type of shields have a strange feeling of balance in center of it

Looking good so far Patrik!
Do you plan on covering the face with something like leather or linen?
