Hello guys. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good source for scabbards?

I own several Albions that I would like scabbards for. Just a simple leather wrapped wood scabbard for around $200.00 or under (if any such thing exists). I know Christian Fletcher and Lockwood both make excellent scabbards, but I don't really want to spend $500+ or wait 6 months.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks

-John

Make your own scabbards. It's not that difficult and you learn new skills.

And you're going to find it difficult or impossible to find anyone who will make a scabbard at your price.

The sellers at Wulflund are usually 100ish Euros;

Most of the products listed also mention(in the description) that they do custom scabbards.

All of the scabbards that were at the lower price points in Wulfland are made from leather alone, not wood and leather as John requested.

Does Russ Ellis still take commissions? At $165 for his basic Maelstrom line scabbard, he's probably the closest to what John is looking for: http://www.tritonworks.com/maelstrom

Yes the products are, but they state that they also do custom stuff on demand.

One of my buddies got himself a wooden scabbard quite cheaply simply by sending a couple e-mails until one dude said "sure", he also now has a linen coated brigandine instead of a leather one, also achieved simply by asking questions.

Member Bryan Heff has made several scabbards for me. Good work and reasonable prices.
