I've been looking for a thick wool kyrtill to wear under mail and also as an over garment but so far have no luck finding any that have trim under $100. Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

I would suggest buying a good quality kyrtle and trim of your choice separately. Applying trim with a sewing machine is a simple task and I'm sure you can find a local seamstress willing to do the work for a small fee. Anyone who advertises clothing alterations could also achieve quick and appropriate results.

I have purchased numerous trims from Calontir Trim and have always been happy with the quality. Its important to note that in your budget you must assume everything is probably going to be machine sewn.
