Hello everyone
Sword is based on great one from Oakeshott book "Records..." Check last photo. On the blade is copper inlay instription +NINOMINEDOMINI+ (very old and very difficult technic). More photos here: http://myArmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=33606
Weight is only 1102g. Long blade, short grip - great sword for horseman.
Pattern on the scabbard in based on scabbard from Bamberg Diocesan Museum - I've found photos on DIMICATOR page. I used antique brown dye to obtain a little aged look.
Belting and chape is based on scabbard from Oakeshott book "Records..." (check photos).
Chape is forged and made from one piece of steel.
total lenght: 103,3cm
blade lenght: 88,5cm
blade width: 44mm
thickness of blade: 5mm (at the base)
weight: 1102g
balance: 17,5cm
grip lenght: 9,3cm
hardness: 54HRC
edges: sharp
