Basically there are lot of information regarding European, Japanese, Persian armours but almost nothing on Medieval Indian or Chinese armors. When I say Medieval, I mean Tang Dynasty China and 8th to 10th century India with her three major states, Pala, Gujjar-Pariharas and Rashtrakutas.

Basically what kind of armours Indian soldiers at rajasthan war and Chinese soldiers at Battle of Talas would had been wearing. I am not looking for a comparison between the two just general info as so far I am unable to find any. So, if you guys have some info or could direct me to right places to dig for this info, it will be awesome.

Try browsing the ATARN site. I think one of the letters or articles on the "closed quiver" has pictures of Tang or earlier murals and/or reliefs of soldiers in armour.
