I'm in the market for a throatless metal shear. At the top of my list is the Beverly B-2 for quality and the ability to cut all guages of steel that i want. The cost, however is a little tough for my budget so I'm looking for a less expensive tool. I know the Harbor Freight shears are very affordable but ive heard so many complaints about quality, im not really interested in spending my time trying to fix a brand new HF shear to make it decent. I ran across ads for Baileigh's mps-2 shear but have not yet found one review of the tool. Does anyone have experience with Baileigh's throatless shears or have any other recomendations?
Thanks a bunch
