Well, they're all very much fantasy swords. The first one is sort of based on a pre-celtic bronze sword, and the second one actually says "fantasy". Why not get something more accurate from Windlass or Wulflund? Unless the production you mention is a fantasy, of course!

For this particular production, I am limited by price and immediate availability. Also, looking for blunts, or at least unsharp . In this particular case, historical accuracy isn't important - just strength and durability. I'm hoping the Wulflund brand will provide that.
My question here is not about historical accuracy, but functionality. It is about how well these swords will do the job they were made for.

Have you tried contacting KoA to see if they have had any returns or complaints from customers about these swords when used in such a function? Just a thought.

I talked to him this morning. He says they are great for this purpose. Of course they are overbuilt, with little distal taper, so they are to a certain extent wristbreakers. but if you want something a lot better, you have to pay a lot more.
One thing you wouldn't want to do - match a Wulflund blunt against a Windlass unsharp. Very bad for the Windlass.
