Just got an e-mail from Scott Wilson @ Darkwood Armoury, telling me that he's got my Arming /Sidering sword finished.
Pic's and more details when it comes home.

Thanks Mac!
Actually, I had an acorn pommel put on it instead of the square one and opted for no finger notch.
Everything else is the same.

Congrats ~Bill,
I'l look forward to the pics and hopefully a full review,
The acorn pommel sounds good, a little more flow to the overall set up, i'm an acorn fan,
is the blade behind the guard left unsharpened with or without the finger notch,
Also looking at the pic Mac put up,
the hilt components look all ready for your lad to practice some detailing

Awesome, Bill. I've been planning on getting a Darkwood sidesword for bouting at some point, but I just need to put the money aside for it first.

Lee,
Thanks chap.....
Being as the blade is a Del-Tin backsword, quite sure it's not sharp. Also, kinda hard to tell from the pic Mac posted but the quillons have a slight S-curve to the them.
Thanks also Bill

Jumpin' for joy. The little brown truck came today with the Darkwood sidering sword.
Nice looking and feeling piece. Kudo's to Scott Wilson @ Darkwood for a great new addition.
Will post pics and specs by the week-end if not sooner.................
