are you aware about a fairly accurate replica of an imperial german (early '900- ww1 period) infantry or artillery officer sabre on the market?
the only one i know is the Dinasty Forge artillery sabre, nice but more expensive than an original antique...
the lack of imperial german sword in the market has always surprised me, given the popularity of the subject in the re-enactement field.
even companies like universal swords, that are prolific with british, americans and even russian swords are reluctant to produce what i would consider a very popular replica to sell.
if you know a place where i can look i would be grateful, i'm talking about a costume sword but preferably not a wallhanger pure and simple
thanks

Originals in good condition are not terribly expensive, nor are they hard to find. I sold one two years ago for under $300USD.

just found this one in germany.... never seen this model before, ideas about the factory or quality?
i know that i can get an original for not such a high price, but firstly i'm based in europe and prices are more high in the market, i have found officer's sabre at not less than 400 euros,
plus i'm not really an antique collectors, i have owned a couple in many years but i have invariabily sold them because i'm too lazy to properly taking care of them...

Links don't work, but I bet that the sword is currently unavailable.
