This sword I was posted some time ago - now I want to share some pictures of ready set - with scabbard and belt - based on sources from first half of 14th century (mansucripts, effigies and museum originals) - with little aging - as weapon used and old...

Beautiful work. That back seam is very interesting. Is it stitched or glued if I may ask?

I like this a lot. Beautifully executed yet sober...top notch.

I agree with Julien - understated but also elegant, I really like it. Well done, thank you very much for sharing.

Minor comments...
Thanks for showing the back seam.
Is there a function to the "odd hook" on the end of the belt? (Sorry if I just never noticed similar before.)

Thank you very much.
Carl - actaully on the sources and finds we can see very similar end fitting - but mostly with small sphere - without hole...
this one I have is different because can be used also as pendant element for another suspension type of this period Happy
