first of all I want to thank myArmoury community for years of inspirations, helpfull tutorials, usefull advices and all enlightening disscutions.

I`m from Poland - my name is Maciej Kopciuch.
From over two years I make medieval swords and scabbards for museums and individual customers - mostly based on original swords and researches.

blade width 54mm
thickness 4,5mm

edges - blunt
materials: steel - one kind (54HRC), brass, silver, leather, wood.

Gorgeous work! I really love the bold, clean lines and subtle decorative detail of these swords, and this is a very handsome specimen of the type. The slightly rough finish is a great touch, too.

The detail work is among the best I have seen.

Thank you all.
Mikko - about this slightly rough finish - yes, I think this is very important that the swords should have something like human touch and time marks, slightly usage marks... - in my opinion these gives them the character. also - as we know - there was no two identhical swords in middle ages.
that why I prefere hand finishing - not by machine, which is simply artificial.

This is my favorite of the three you have posted, but it is a hard choice and they are all very well done. It is nice to see another good maker.

Really good although I would like to see the beaded wire between the pommel and upper guard. I think it adds a lot to the original...

Wow, at 1500g and center of gravity at 14.5 cm it sounds like quite a beast. Eek!

How would you say it handles, if possible?

thank you Jerry Happy
Bartek - actually it is not the sword in my type Happy I prefer something like my "early longsword" for fencing training.
about the handling of this sword - it is true powerfull war tool.
when you cut strong - you have to use right technique of handling for this type of pommel... hard to describe to me and my poor English Happy
